About the event
One extraordinary evening.
As Prince’s long-time keyboardist and former music director, Morris Hayes spent nearly 20 years working alongside the legendary artist.
The evening is a celebration of some of the most iconic songs marking Hayes' musical journey with Prince and other architects of the Minneapolis Sound.
Joining Hayes are original New Power Generation rapper Tony Mosley and powerhouse vocalist MacKenzie, who began touring with the reunited New Power Generation in 2018.
The experience also includes a one-of-a-kind opening performance and an exclusive VIP After-Show Experience.
OPENING ACT
Crescendo Detroit students take the stage alongside Morris Hayes and acclaimed Detroit musicians Gayelynn McKinney, Maurice “Piranhahead” Herd and Raine Baker for a special Opening Act.
AFTER SHOW EXPERIENCE
Included with $150 VIP Patron Table Seating tickets: a meet & greet with Morris Hayes followed by a Late Set with special guests and some of Detroit’s finest musicians coming together to support Crescendo Detroit with an old-school Detroit jam.
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, the concert is presented as a benefit for Crescendo Detroit.
